Your Questions About Boba Tea House

Linda asks…

Does Starbucks have bubble (boba) tea?

I really want to try some Chai Boba Tea, and I was wondering if Starbucks served it because there is one within walking distance from my house. : )

anyone ever had it? is it good?

Bubble Tea Fun answers:

No. Starbucks don’t serve pearl drinks. Pearl drinks are more of an Asian drink. You can get those from Asian cafes. My favorite drink is watermelon with pearls and mocha with pearls. There’s not much cafes out there that can serve good pearl drinks.

Susan asks…

Ramen House in Alabama?

Hey everybody! I spent some time in California recently and fell in love with restaurant ramen (especially fresh Duck Ramen). I was wondering there was any such restaurants in Alabama (particularly around Birmingham). While I’m at it, anywhere to get some Thai tea with Boba? I’ve looked online for both and still have had no luck finding either one. I may just have to learn how to make this stuff at home.

Mark asks…

does anyone knows how to make passion fruit slush?

i love passion fruit slush boba! i usually buy them at local boba shops named Tea Zone, or Volcano, they’re quite expensive, but good, and my house isn’t that near. i’ve been dying to know how to make passion fruit iced tea! (i love it when they’re crushed, and make it a slushy with some boba XD)
i’ve been wondering if they use pure passion fruit juice or some power/tea bag, so if you know how to, please tell me, i would love to know so badly, maybe if you’re a worker at some boba shop, you can help me out, IM A FREAKING BOBA LOVERRR!!!
thanks :D

Bubble Tea Fun answers:

I don’t know where you live but if you can find it, here is a cheat without the tapioca pearls. If you like the pearls, WalMart sells it in the food section. Just follow the cooking directions for it and add to your blender later..

In the frozen juice sections of most grocery stores, you can find a passion fruit juice concentrate.
Make tea of your choice. For strong tea, use 3 bags per 8 oz of hot water. It sounds really strong but remember you will be adding it to ice and other liquids. Place the tea into a pitcher this way you will have alot for later. Put the pitcher in the refrigerator overnite then remove the tea bags in the morning.
In a blender, crush ice with a little tea to just make it easy to blend. Open your canned juice concentrate and slowly add a little at a time with more tea to get the slushy texture. Taste the mix and add more tea or juice concentrate.
