Your Questions About Boba Tea

Daniel asks…

Does anyone know of a good place to get boba tea in Seattle?

I know this question is kind of weird, but I’m going to be in Seattle for a few days, and I’ve heard about this mythical Boba tea. I really want to try it. Where is a good place for me to get Boba tea? The relatives I’m going to visit live south of the city proper. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bubble Tea Fun answers:

There is a tea shop in Pike Place Market that probably has it. The south end of the market makes an L and the shop is in the corner on the waterfront side.

It may be that you have a mispronunciation. So ask them if they have it and then if they have anything that sounds close. You might mean bubble tea.

George asks…

Where can I find nutrition facts for boba tea?

I’m doing a little research into boba tea. I need to know, mostly, how many carbohydrates and how much sugar is in them. Especially the tapioca balls. Thanks for your help!

Call the company. Your welcome for the help.

Ken asks…

Fellow Senior Citizens, have you experienced iced boba tea or rather iced tea with boba beads?

I had the Thai iced tea with the boba beads. The “boba” are cooked tapioca balls which have a semi-sweet, chewy texture. It is a different drink that the young people seem to enjoy. I enjoyed it as well. Have you tried it?

Bubble Tea Fun answers:

I have never heard of it but I will look for some to try. Thanks for the tip.

Mary asks…

How can i make boba tea at home?

Where do I buy the boba and do you have a recipe for the flavored teas? Thank you in advance.

Bubble Tea Fun answers:

Well you will need a blender tapioca pearls and the mix for the flavouring. You can get the blender at any department store although if you are going to be making a lot I would recommend a VitaMix blender (although they are pricey, they use them at Boba places and Jamba Juice so you know they are good). The flavouring and the tapioca pearls can be bought at Boba Tea Direct!
